I spent a couple of hours talking with the owner, Bill Huxel, and he like most of us, wants to recycle as much as he can but, with scrape prices at over $240. a ton it's going to be shredder time for a lot of them.

I posted pictures of some of the cars I saw today and I'll list as many cars as I have notes on below so you have an idea of what he has. I'll be adding on from time to time so keep checking back.
•Four or more 1959 Chevy Impalas
•Several early and mid 60s Chevys, Buicks, Pontiacs and Fords
•Many 50s Ford, Dodge and Chevy pickups
•53 Cadillac Hearse

•Several early 40s Dodge Coupes

•Several early 60's Buick Convertibles
•A few Nashs, and Packards
•Lots of 55-57 Chevys

Most pick out, some sheet metal, rear ends, at least one with a V8,
•8000 Hubcaps going back to the 1950's
•100s of old License Plates
•100s of old wheels (rims)
•Many carburators, generators and starters on the shelf. 

 

Bill said he doesn't want to ship parts so all the sales have to be at the yard but, it may be worth the drive.
