In the early 1960s, Dodge and Plymouth introduced the all-new B body cars, built with a shorter chassis. Because of the lightweight design and powerful V8 engines, the B bodied models were superior to the competition.
The Dodge 330 was positioned above the A-body Dart. Chrome wrapped around the windshield and the rear window had moldings. Car was built to go to church and the grocery store during the week and then on Sundays, to the race track!
This is an incredible example of a 1964 Dodge 330 Tribute car.
The all-steel original exterior has top of the line white paint. The hood vent, roof and rear trunk lid have blue candy stripes that were typical on these cars. Interior is the original light blue with a blue dash, steering wheel, headliner, and carpet. Steering wheel features the tachometer. Engine is the 426/547 HP Max Wedge Block with Max Wedge Stage III heads and cross ram intake.
Roger Lechtenberg did the block head and prep. Exhaust is the original style Max Wedge Exhaust manifolds and exhaust with cut out. Transmission is the 727 Push Button Torque Flite and the push buttons are located on the top of the left side the dash. Car is radio and heater delete. There is no clock and no other options. Total miles on the car are 48,000 original miles.
When the car was restored, it had 43,000 miles. Only 3,000 show miles have been put on the car since the restoration. This Dodge 330 has won many awards at car shows. It is an excellent driver and definitely a conversation starter! You can view this Dodge by appointment only.
